As a Browns fan I am disgusted at this decision. I feel that ownership have made a colossal mistake hiring Michael Lombardi. Tom Heckert was doing a good job evaluating and picking up talent. In the few years Tom was here, we got people like Trent Richardson, Josh Gordon and Joe Haden. All of them have become good producers for the Browns and will prove to be invaluable in the future. As an analyst, Lombardi was critical of Heckert's Trent Richardson-Brandon Weeden draft, calling it a "panic disaster." He also blasted the supplemental draft pick of Gordon as a "wasted draft pick," which could prove out to be Heckert's best pick in terms of value. There is a reason Lombardi was on the NFL network. You don't think it's because he liked it do you? Mr. Haslam, you are CEO of a customer based business. The Browns are no different. Please listen to your customers!
