This petition has been filed by the citizens of The Town of Amherstburg in efforts to have the current Mayor, Wayne Hurst remove from office. Based on the recent findings of the audit conducted regarding the inaccurate and falsely filed campaign financial reports, we feel the auditors report should serve as sufficient evidence of Mr. Hurst's inabilities to govern our town honestly and openly as a person in his position is expected to do. It is our requests that Mr. Hurst be removed from office immediately and a full audit of the Town of Amherstburg be ordered at once. All of the attached signatures have been verified and confirmed as property owners and/or residents of The Town of Amherstburg. In signing the petition, I understand that I will be supporting the above request to be presented upon official reveal of the audits results to the authorities in charge.
