Please give this family what they ask for. There is no reason this process should be made more difficult on them than it already is. They have enough to deal with.

I feel if this judge remains on this case there will be a conflict of interest in the case.

I agree. If he had disclosed the relationship with the family, I don't think he would or should have been assigned to this case. I think he should recluse himself from the case and the Moorers should be made to come back into the state.

I have seen the gag order violated repeatedly by the defendants on social media. The latest is the posting of "articles" and harassing posts that point to Terry Elvis as the real culprit. That is a disgusting, baseless, and desperate accusation on behalf of the defense, whose own stories have changed repeatedly, resulting in obstruction charges. These postings are an attempt to not only deflect from the fact that they are the ones charged with the crimes and no one else, but to harass a grieving family. It is alarming that this is allowed to continue, as it has resulted in Mr. Elvis' character to be libeled in the community, despite the fact that Judge Dennis stated any violation of the gag order or harassment of any parties would result in arrest and detention. It is even more alarming that the judge is friends with one of the defendants' families, but has yet to recuse himself. The State of South Carolina is surely better than this, and the Elvis family, Myrtle Beach, and Horry County surely deserve better judicial treatment.

The Elvis family & their supporters have been under stress since the accused have been bonded out. Please put the accused back behind bars until the trial. I myself do not feel safe. I do not know if they are in SC or Fl.

I support the Elvis family in requesting Rupert Markley Dennis Jr. be removed from this case and do request the South Carolina Supreme Court to appoint a judge whom will correct the nature of two cited issues contained in the respective petition on "ipetitions" created by the Elvis family.
