With public houses closing everyday surely publicans should not only offer hospitality good beer, food and wine they should offer the community they serve hospitality in time of its greatest need. The wake of a patron of decades standing should be its greatest honour and handled with dignity and respect. The current manager of the Marston Green Tavern has failed dismally on this and countless other occasions. Totally failing to understand the ethos and format of the license held and the trust of the patrons. Clearly the current encumbrent is a square peg in a round hole more suited perhaps to working in a formal state institution than a place of rest, refuge, fun and restoration. Definitely time for Mitchels and Butler to act swiftly and issue a P45 and restore its reputation and good will before The Marston Green Tavern joins the list of failed hostelries in the area

She is the most vile person I have ever met she has run the pub into the ground... worst manager ever at the tavern! She doesn’t do her job properly because she’s too busy playing the fruit machines!!

This arrogant woman needs to go, she's rude, and she spoke to me Christmas day in a very nasty way, kindness goes along way and you shouldn't speak or treat people like that respect is earned.
