Remove Leena van Deventer from Victorian Women's Trust

Ashamed of the sad state of the world when female victims of male sexual violence are not allowed a safe space. These organisations have betrayed the very people they were formed to protect. Shame on you.

This story has gone around the world. I will be interested to see what the Victorian Women's Trust do.

What an unspeakably foul thing to suggest. This woman is vile bully and shouldn't have any position of responsibility or influence. We can disagree with people without exhorting this type - or any type - of bullying or alienating behaviour. van Deventer is beyond foul - she's dangerous and downright nasty.

Vulgar. Wouldn't trust her to put out my bins, let alone be responsible for the care of vulnerable women.

This woman is not fit to hold a position with the Victorian Women's Trust. Advocating spitting on a rape victim? Utterly disgusting.

This woman is vile and should be publicly sanctioned and removed from her job.

Her position is untenable. There is no trust in the trust if it stands by Neena after another bout of her vitriol towards women.

It's hard for me to believe that this petition is necessary, that this didn't result in immediate termination of employment -- not only in a women's program, but in any social services provision organization.

Needs to be removed immediately! Disgusting that any person would incite violence and abuse towards a rape victim but one that supposedly works for women and girls… this is insidious. Remove now!

A woman who speaks in this way to another woman, a victim of rape - has no business being on your board. Get rid. Get some compassion. Put women above males in this vert vulnerable space.
