I believe the description of this petition while good in the core of its spirit is wrong to portray the 14 year old "boy" who committed the other crime as some sort of misunderstood poor angel.
The correct logic should be that both should have been adequately punished and not that both should not have been punished.

Who supervise the judges and make sure that he or she is doing his or her job according to the law. The answer to this question is no one judges have no one to answer to when it concerns cases. I am surprised that judges accounts are not monitored because of bribes. I think that going to a spa for 450,000 dollars a year, and getting a 10 year probation does not even compare to killing four innocent people. I wonder had one of these individual's had been part of her family would she have given the same verdict NO she would be outraged and disgusted.

Not only should this young man do some jail time, perhaps until he is 21 and then given a reasonable amount of community service hours, but an investigation should be conducted to determine who gave him access to the alcohol. This sentence serves no purpose other than to show affluent teens that they can get away with anything because of Daddy's money. The disparaging sentence of the 14 year old is a true travesty of justice.

I am appalled that Judge jean boyd can sleep knowing thatmshemallowed this precious young man off without reguard to the loss of 4 innocent people. It is an injustice and send no message to Eathen Couch, but sends a LOUDER MESSAGE that Judge boyd has no respect for the families of the the Victims or the ones who lost their lives as a result of Eathan Couch's RECKLESS BEHAVIOR..in my opinion he should get 20 years for eachlife lost . Judge that would be 80 years behind bars not 10 years Probation. It's not what you know it's who you to get a light sentence?
