It is unfair to continually cause pain to those who have already endured so much. Your society should be about helping cancer sufferers and their families not hurting them further. It is clear now a mistake was made running the campaign be considerate enough to announce the campaign is being stopped.

As a mother of a young daughter who has just finished treatment for cancer this add makes me sick to my stomach! And to have my daughter ask me why someone would want to have cancer as she said 'I had cancer and I didn't like it' she doesn't understand this and it upsets her!

This advert causes to much upset & hurt, to too many, to be of any ones bebefit. Might the money be better spent searching for cures, or falling that provide mores avenues for families to get more comfort.

I understand the hidden cryptic meaning of this advert but for most ordinary people it's seen it in a negative light !! I think it is unacceptable for people in the know how to use this form of modern day advertising . Where has normal conversation gone?? Lost in translation - what a waste of money that could be used elsewhere!! Instead of promoting Cancer Care it had the opposite effect ?
I am a nurse and have always promoted awareness of Cancer.

An insensitive play on words causing more upset to people struggling with cancer or a friend or family member of someone struggling with cancer. A cheap caption to grab attention for "shock value" - money would be better spent providing support to those affected by it or educating those not affected by it at the moment.
