My father, brother and nephew died from cancer and I don't agree with this campaign from the ICS. They all suffered for many months and It was heartbreaking and disturbing for the rest of the family and relations watching them suffering.

We should be listening to the families that have been through the pain. Why torture them just to get more advertisement.

You need to think carefully about those affected by cancer and how your ad affects them. Can't believe you did not carefully think this through prioir to launching your campaign.

My family and I are angered, hurt and disgusted by this campaign by the ICS, there's not a family in Ireland who don't 'get' cancer, my mother passed away from cancer, my partner had cancer last year and is lucky enough to have survived the experience. We feel the shock tactics used in this ad are totally unnecessary and distressing to the very people who donate to your organisation. I will never give to the ICS again, I will give to cancer charities but not this one. The money used to fund this ad could have been spent more wisely, in supporting families affected by the disease, palliative care, counselling the list is endless. This campaign has caused a lot of needless hurt and anger among people who have had their fair share of suffering. I would ask the ICS to rethink their campaign and take this ad off our television screens now.
