As a breast cancer survivor I was upset initially by the ad. It took time for me to understand the meaning of the ad. Until I became aware of this campaign l thought it was just my sensitivity.

Insensitive, insulting campaign. ICS would do well to provide care and support to those suffering from this cruel disease rather than investing money in an advertising campaign that provokes ill feelings and discontent amongst a nation who are all too aware of what cancer looks like.

Husband died at 37, ineffective marketing campaign from execs that have never been touched by cancer, I don't know who sanctioned this

I accept the message that's being put across but the wording is completely unacceptable. Cancer is a merciless disease (I've gone through it! ) and we don't need the word 'get' to accept that .fact.

ICS are confusing marketing with creating awareness. The staff who authorised this ad should spend time volunteering in a cancer ward to give back for the waste of money spent on the ad. Think of children as well as adults when you make decisions. Take down the ad now.
