Remove Irish Cancer society Advert - "I want to get Cancer"

We lost our only daughter 16 weeks ago to breast cancer utterly heartbroken,so upset the Irish Cancer Society think this advertisement is a good idea.

While the intention may have been well intended I don't think this ad in any way helps the cause of ICS and instead of making people more aware of cancer it is just upsetting for a great number of people.

Disgusted doesn't even come close to describing how I feel about the use of the ad campaign.

I think this ad is disgusting and very difficult to explain to young children!! My children find this ad very upsetting!! Please remove immediately!!

Please remove this ad. It is extremely disturbing and upsetting . My husband got cancer and I wouldn't wish what we're going through as a family on my worst enemy. I will never again support anything to do with the Irish cancer society again until this is removed. Money better spent on providing support for families. You should be ashamed

Most insensitive ad they could ever make

I lost my best friend...a father of two young children...my grandmother (suddenly) and my aunt. I am now helping my children aged 6, 9 and 12 adjust to the fact that their dad is no longer "living with cancer" but is now dying from it. I no longer allow irish tv channels to be watched in my home...we watch netflix...because it upsets us. But trying to explain the concept behind this ad to my six year old who is learning to read im school and reading everything in sight...including the ICS poster at the bus shelter at the end of our road...well that's just beyond me. In the words of my child....that's just stupid. Take it down

This add is offensive.

Comes across as very offensive to people who have lost family to cancer. I understood the ad but found it very inappropriate as it wasn't clear to everyone.

Awful campaign . Shud not be putting a sentence like that out into the atmosphere

This is very offensive and misleading advertising. Please remove it, it's actually causing more pain to cancer patients and their families.

I'm sure ICS did not intentionally mean to offend, but the ad comes across as really inappropriate & has caused so many families real pain & upset while they are grieving for the loss of a loved one. I'm sure the money could be put to much better use elsewhere to help fight this lifesucking disease!!!!!

This add should never have been made know one who has a loved one die from cancer needs to have this shown evey night on tv who in there right would want cancer what are you thinking of for gods sake take it down now

I have seen my Husband pass away very recently from Cancer,and Both myself and my family strongly condemn this horrible Advert by Irish Cancer Society,
