Remove Irish Cancer society Advert - "I want to get Cancer"

Please remove this ad . I have two of my closest family fighting cancer. You would never even joke that you want to 'get cancer'after seeing what they have been through.

Not a nice add and is very bad for the people that are going through it and for families that have lost people from it, disgraceful!

I agree with Dolores & her poor children, very hard for them to understand .I am sure there are many more like her.

Remove this disturbing, insulting advert now. Disgusting that the ICS could be so detached from the reality of people enduring the scourge of cancer. Kick email while they're down ICS.

An outrageous, heartless and totally inappropriate advertising campaign

I had Triple Negative breast cancer, 3 surgeries in 10 days, 4 months of chemo every 2 weeks and 25 days of radiation. It left me with severe anxiety and a debilitating depression which I am just now coming out of after nearly 2 years. Every time I see this ad I get a blast of anxiety and even dreamt about it last night!! Cancer patients, former cancer patients, friends, families of cancer patients do NOT need to see this awful slogan. It's upsetting and unnecessary.

Please see sense and remove this add

My mum passed away this year from cancer in her 50's after a 22 year battle with the horrible disease. To have an add where people say they want cancer, however ironically it may be is extremely disrespectful for those brave people who have fought and still fight with every breath to survive

Its the worse add I have ever seen or heard. Gives the wrong message.

This advertisement is a total waste of donations made to Irish Cancer Society. Money could be spent better on patients needs. As a Cancer patient it is degrading. No one goes out deliberately to get Cancer

Its a very distastefull campaign i'm sure every household in the country has been shocked by a family member getting this horrible disease no one needs to relive it every time they see the add ,i'd imagine that money could of been put to better use or a more informative campaign !!!

As a person that has had breast cancer last yr. I find this advertisement very insensitive to many. Have had my 12 yr old son asking "why would you want cancer mam after seeing what you went through." I'm all for making people aware but everyone is aware as unfortunately all families either know someone or have a family member that have cancer in some way. Would prefer to see advertisements that teach people to look out for signs of cancer, educate people about it, not upset people.

After going through cancer and three young kids in the house this ad is ridiculous every time it comes on the youngest child gets so upset

I lost my sister three years ago to that terrible disease....I didn't like the advert when I saw it...was wondering why they would even make such an advert ?
