The current principal has developed a culture of non-compliance of mandatory reporting to DCFS on situations involving abuse of children. This is illegal and needs to be addressed immediately.

Leadership is crucial in any educational setting. Unfortunately, IAMS children and families have suffered due to a lack of leadership. I hope that the district is actively looking at situations in which parents and community members are voicing their concerns to this degree. The foundation of this school was for and by the community, so a true leader would be serving the students and families, not neglecting their needs or taking actions that are harmful and/or discriminatory.

I am supporting the safety of our children and families. And I hope that everything is handled in a fair way for the well-being of our children at Escuela Interamaricana. The abuse of authority and the mismanagement of decisions in a school are reasons for taking action when it comes to the physical and mental safety of children. I do not support any kind of negligence regarding the sexual safety, health, morals, and education of a student regardless of age, color, sex, etc !!

Just because a person has a PHD in education, does not make them creditable. This has been an ongoing issue with CPS. Sometimes a person with a PHD is too stupid to reasoning to be smart to logic. It’s time CPS takes charge and removes her.

Having failed to provide clear and consistent information regarding the described situations accountability must be inforced through the removal of office. A proper investigation conducted by authorities of all parties should be completed to confirm all cases and hold all parties accountable.

Schools should be safe places for our kids. When someone in a position to preserve that safety jeopardizes it, they should be removed. Surely people have been removed for far less than what has occurred under this principal.

We need to keep our kids safe at all costs! We CAN NOT be silent or push these inappropriate behaviors to the side! If our kids can not trust the adults who are supposed to be there to defend and teach them then who can they trust?!
