I have been reading through the comments and seeing so many of you share the same frustration about being forced to use your real name. It is clear that we value our privacy on here and I am pushing forward to make sure our concerns are actually seen by the people in charge.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am far from the only person who feels like their privacy on YouTube has been stripped away. It is incredibly validating to know that so many of you want our platform back the way it used to be.

Google+ is still the worst thing to happen to YouTube. I know this is an old petition and an essentially lost fight, but Google+ should have been killed off a long time ago.
getting really tired of my real name showing up on comments. stop forcing this on us.
WHY IS GOOGLE+ EVEN A THING. literally nobody uses it. go away.
they ruined the best site on the internet just to push their failing social media platform. give us back the old channel layout.
please just let me comment without having to link a google plus account... its so annoying

YouTube has not been the same as it was before teaming up with Google+. Bring back the old YouTube!
