Rockstar finally confirmed they are removing Free-Aim Assisted from our lobbies. I am genuinely floored that we pulled this off and can finally get back to the fair gameplay we deserve. Keep your eyes peeled to ensure this change hits the servers exactly as promised.

"Removing Free-Aim Assisted targeting mode from Free-Aim lobbies.
The Free-Aim community has become unbalanced due to the servers allowing players who use Free-Aim Assisted targeting mode to play alongside pure Free-Aim players. This video demonstrates that Free-Aim Assisted is in no way a true form of Free-Aim. The lock on radius is around 8-10 feet from the target. The purity of a Free-Aim community is now compromised with players using a light version of auto aim. I have yet to get any explanation as to the reasons why this auto aim feature is in a free aim mode. I have started this petition to prove to R* this feature is a huge oversight that has made the game we love unbalanced. Please make Free Aim great again.

I have been reading through the messages from players who are tired of these unfair lobbies. My goal remains the same because the current system is broken for those of us who actually want to test our skills.

Seeing one hundred people recognize how broken these lobbies feel is validating. I am fighting for the integrity of this game because precision should remain a skill rather than a setting.

As a true free aim player and shooter in gta5 online and a member of the biker community I can speak for the entire free aim community and say we have had enough with shearing our lobbys with the free aim assisted players and we would like to have our own lobby again like we used to
Ridiculous how free-aim assisted still exists in gta, i play both auto and free aim and at times i join friends games who are in free aim and i enter servers with "FAA" and it stays there till who knowns when, i can even turn my xbox off for couples days and still have it once i play again
Faa is unfair. Free aim requires skill. Why make it an uneven playing field? The free aim community play free aim to get away from the aim assisted players who have no skill and use explosive style weapons. FAA takes this away giving other players a disadvantage.
As a member of the expansive MC community free aim assisted is against battle chivarly and tarnishes the game beyond belief. It is a constant arguement among an already fractured community but I assure you, we still are trying to make this game fun and playable and this is one obstacle of many.
This Free aim assist has to leave from free aim, too much problems and not enough Fair gaming, this makes me not even wanna play GTA anymore since people can't play fair, most of the time I'm on my ps4 watching Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and YouTube since GTA is boring not enough enjoyment since people use FAA

Having been born in auto aim on ps3 ,when graveyard dropped. Then transitioning to free aim a year later and then again on ps4,having heard about this prior to my move I was truly disheartened to see it for.myself. keep free aim pure ROCKSTAR.
