Changes need to happen at SEC, recent ice storm response not acceptable, absolutely poor communication until the press got involved. We are very unhappy SEC customers!!!

There has been no reason for people being out of power as long as they were. We got power back after 8 days, so we were luckier than most, but we had to pay for gas and kerosene to be able to get by and that cost us more than having power fire 1 month. Explain why SEC was not prepared for a natural disaster like this?

I have a medical form on file requiring electric for oxygen and was left without power for 13 days. I was one of the last 600 people to be restored.

The like of communication with your members has been nothing until news station. Went 9 days no power could speak with any one at the office then not until news station. No las he trucks came in your neighgerhood only lead truck that got limb off the line within 2 hrs power was on for about 25 or more homes no lines down, poles broken quick fix. Too much time put in big problem not the small until until larger could be done. Put everyone on HOLD. You make big money dont know how to be pro active.

I’m not a member but a concerned citizen from Mecklenburg County due to no power for 14 days it has affected work and a client that is bed ridden in the Dundas area and the handling on the SEC side has been very degrading !
