He must step down. He is causing a divide in a Parochial school. St Rose has had the reputation of being a unique family oriented school.

Change is needed and removing the IHM nuns is not the answer. The only way forward to recover the parish both emotionally and financially is to replace the pastor. #sayingnotocollection

Archbishop - no donations to the ABCD until he is removed from St Rose of Lima. Please send him on a sabbatical. My family has pledged $200 a month for the last few years, but have decided to withhold it until action is taken from your office.

This situation is all too common in the Catholic Church - an egotistical pastor doing the bidding of the few that have his ear. They should be tossed out with him.

This is a perfect case that shows what really matters to the church. I am very sorry for the Nuns. Their devotion, love and care for the kids in St. Rose is admirable. Sister Bernadette is a example to follow. I cannot say the same for the Pastor of St. Rose and the Masses shows lack of devotion.

The Church and the school belong to the parishioners, not to a dictatorial pastor.

Bishop Wenski - if you are reading this petition, you must find it in your heart to listen to the vast majority of parents, children and parishioners who are being hurt and punished by Fr. Pedro. The only way to save and repair this damage is to remove him from the parish and allow all of the nuns to stay. The positive impact that they have had on my son at SRL in a very short time is a testimony to how terrific the current school is. There is no need to make such a drastic, unneeded, underhanded change because 'the chosen few' have spoken and have been making sure he has been looked after during his stay at our beautiful parish. He has preached that he never wanted to be at SRL. Please do not allow him to cause any more damage and heartache.

You may as well send your children to Public Schools if there are no longer nuns to teach our children...Shame on you Fr. Pedro....

The Sisters must stay; the pastor must go immediately. We must withhold all contributions to the church until we have a new pastor and the decision about the Sisters is reversed.

The IHM Sisters have helped watch over our daughters from Kinder to 8th grade- I'm horrified at the decision to let them go. Ashamed of our school and parish right now.

If the nuns are forced to leave, then so should he.

It's not St. Rose without the IHM sisters.
I agree. Remove him as Pastor!
