This can only make the NFL more money than they are currently getting from EA

Constantly taking modes out of the game to add them back a year later is bs. Custom play books don't even work right. Years and years of nothing special and now mut has taken over... The free / pay as you go mode after you've bought the game. No wonder Ea is the most hated company

It would benefit everyone if they had competition.

Madden is a direct representation of the NFL and allowing competition to take place would ensure that the NFL is being represented in the best possible way.

The product is stagnant, no doubt about that. Exclusivity has killed innovation. I haven't purchased a Madden game Day One in 3 or 4 years, and I doubt anything will draw me in until something or someone lights a fire under EA.

removing the exclusive rights agreement lets other companies jump in and make games that could represent the nfl better than madden currently is.

Of course every business should look at profit, but when the product becomes sub par, it's time to allow for competition. Not only for the benefit of the gaming community but to increase the quality of the product.
