Let's face it the facts. Dan Slott has completely exhaustedhis run on Spider-man. He has driven Marvel Comic's greatest character into the ground. I am tired of this! I will give him that he has somegood ideas, but can he deliver on them? Absolutely not. He has ruined the only living Peter Parker with his lifeless, boring drivelthat hasno signs of stopping and I'm tired of it. He has turned an extremely deep and beautiful character into a one-dimensional prepubescent teenagerthat deserves to be killed off and replaced with another web-slinger. He has absolutely no concept ofwho this character truly is or how he should be written. In honor of their 100th anniversary, it is time for Marvel to make Dan Slott retire from Spider-man before he digs a grave deeper than Kraven that Peter won't be able to dig himself up from. I am honestly overwhelmed by the number of people who took the time to stop by and share their frustration about the current direction of the comics. It is clear that I am far from alone in feeling like Peter Parker deserves better because you all have been so passionate in explaining why this matters.

Finally someone said it. i stopped picking up the issues years ago because i just couldnt stand the dialogue anymore. pete feels like a total loser now not a hero.
DAN SLOTT NEEDS TO GO. he ruined aunt may and he ruined the whole marriage dynamic. so sick of this constant mess.

Too right he should be removed. he basically ruined Spider-man for me, He destroyed practically everything I enjoyed about the book, Specifically those involving Mary Jane, whose relationship with Peter he's torn to shreds and Black Cat whose character in my opinion he's destroyed. not to mention the fact that he "killed off" Silver Sable another character I enjoyed reading.
