General Appeal of the Lay Faithful to Bishop David Walkowiak regarding Covid-19 restrictions

For those of us who are vaccinated the crisis is over and the inconvenience should cease

We pray for you to remove these restrictions which make Mass a place of division and not unity.

This letter covers all my sentiments. We now know the truth about Covid 19 and that it was made political and blown out of proportion.

These have been my thoughts and feelings since the day I was told I could come back to Mass as long as I covered my face. Only I did come back with my face uncovered and I brought my family with me. As I prayed to St. Michael for direction, I was clearly told not to let the fear and ignorance of others keep me from where I needed to be.

Stop this madness.

It is an insult to God to hide your face from Him!

Stop taking government money and restricting our faith

People need people. Please allow adults that want to gather the right to do so at their own risk.

Something needs to change. We need strong leadership in our churches NOT what we are currently seeing.

This is a excellent letter, expressing my sentiments better then I could. I wont to thank those who were instrumental in composing it. I pray that the our spiritual leaders will once again lead us to follow the truth given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ and not the lies given to us by our government.

I avoid coming to church because everyone is wearing a mask. It gives me extreme anxiety when I’m there. I have actually had heart palpitations and panic attacks while in mass. I come home crying because it’s so depressing seeing everyone of “faith” fall for this false narrative that masks protect you from a virus and they are all just living in fear /obeying and not doing their own research and fighting back. No one wants to wear these things. I have seen so many people wear them under their nose to breathe. It seems unfair if we are 6 feet from others why we have to keep a mask on and can’t take them off in the pew. The priest goes through the whole mass without a mask, so why can’t we? You can go to a restaurant and take your mask off at your table. But with an aerosol Virus, the distance makes no difference. Please look up industrial hygienist Stephen Petty talk about dilution and destruction is what needs to happen. Aka. Better ventilation and special air filters installed in your HVAC system instead of using a paper mask that suffocate you cause health problems and don’t stop a virus from getting in or around the mask. I know many non Catholic Churches in the area that NO ONE wears a mask and they have not seen any cases.

I long to be in Church viewing the beautiful faces of all who come to worship our God and King!! I am not afraid of this virus or our governor's mandate. No more masks for me!

I want all Catholics to have the ability to receive Jesus again without restrictions!

Yes....our faith needs to be stronger than the fear of the COVID.

I long for the day when Christ will be elevated at Mass and not the virus.
