Bumps cause issues with many cars with clearance and create an additional hazard to road users.
In the 30+ years I've lived in the area I've yet to seen an accident occur on this stretch that would warrant these been needed, in fact as per safety audit they are more likely to pose an accident risk than prevent.
Why have a safety audit carried out, be told the bumps aren't safe only to still install?

A previous professional audit judged the hump at Earith end of the scheme to be badly positioned, not sufficiently visible and potentially dangerous, particularly for motorcylists. Based on this information, the scheme should never have been reinstated.

All speed bumps need to be assessed and removed where they don't allow any vehicle legally able to use the highway to pass without damage at the speed limit. This means sports cars, city cars etc. Not just the vans and range rovers the councillors appear to drive given that they give permission for these without any consideration to these road users.

These speed humps causes an incredible amount of pollution for the resedents living around the area, I'm sure there must be cleaner methods of speed control.

They are very badly placed and the drivers speeding up and slowing down cause more problems it does no good to your suspension when you can’t cross them square on when something’s coming the other way. Pidleys are as bad

The one on the corner is dangerous. If you are doing 30mph on a Motorcycle you have to make a decision which side of the hump to go round and if you decide wrong you could meet an oncoming vehicle because you can't see far enough round the corner. I know it is there and it is still dangerous, anyone from outside the area could be in all sorts of trouble.

The bumps are just too high. They cause most drivers to become annoyed and they speed up in between - and you should see the speeds they then come past my house a little further down the road towards Somersham.
Wider axle vehicles are not affected and continue at whatever speed they like.
Then there is the damage to those cars that bottom out on them.

I hate this bumps because i hit 4 time with cars and i drive very slow it's so night..

These speed bumps have been fitted for the second time and they are awful! They seem very high and with big angles. I think they should have left them out when the removed the old damaged ones.

Every time I go over them they scrape the underside of my car. I have to go over them at slower than 5 mph and idiots in larger vehicles then speed past me on the wrong side of the road.

as a motorcyclist I feel these are dangerous, they seem higher than others and the side seem to be at a steep angle, the worste of which is the one at the Earith end on the bend
