I don't know where this clown got his coaching credentials, but he needs to get his money back. They failed him MISERABLY. The play calling alone shows that he is in way over his head. The horrible player utilization is another issue. Players are in positions they have no business being in, but we get it.......favoritism and cronyism is the tactic of the day. I don't think this dude or much of his staff is even qualified for pee wee league. Get him gone, restore the kid's confidence and self esteem and get back to winning.

I'm not entirely sure why he is referred to as "Coach" Thomas. I have never seen him actually coach from the sidelines. In fact, after several years, I can barely recognize him due to his lack of involvement; only to be quickly reminded by the horrible way he berates and demeans the kids. There is a line between coaching and unnecessary verbal abuse. These are kids in high school, not the NFL and should be treated as such. He takes his bad moods out on kids that he feels he can bully. Perhaps it's time to do some self reflection and realize the issue lies with the "coach" who doesn't coach, not the kids. At the end of the day he he cares about the paycheck and his title, not the wellbeing and success of the kids or program.
We can't win games. We are losing talent who have been forced to move to other school in hopes of being scouted. Scouts have little to no interest in the program. Coach Thomas does not allow scouts to come (his words to the kids). Our kids are in one of the most impoverished school districts in Florida. Over 14% of our kids are below the poverty line. Most of our families are middle class and still cannot afford to pay for their college. Our kids rely on scholarships to get an education beyond high school. He is ripping every chance they have at that away. They can't even move to other sports as a plan B because he's the AD too.
He doesn't just demean the kids. He demeans the other coaches and ignores them too. The other coaches try, but are shut down when they speak up or when Thomas is in a bad mood and decides to take it out on someone else.
He's threatened and began to remove kids from their positions for doing something wrong and him not correcting them FOR ENTIRE GAMES. That is not coaching. He is sitting on the sideline collecting checks while screwing over our kids. The embarassment isn't the kids, contrary to what he has stated. The embarassment is Coach Thomas. Any emplyer would reprimand or even fire aN employee for the rubbish that come from his mouth.
Our tax dollars pays for his abuse of our young adults.

All get cares about is the respect and paycheck that comes from being a head ball coach. Doesn't care about those young men or what happens to them after highschool.

He told my son’s JV team during half time after he told them they were an embarrassment, “I gave the coaches permission to fire you if you don’t do your position”. I believe the same should be true for him!!!
