Remove Chechnya chapter from The Camarilla (sourcebook)

As a former UN soldier and an active priest who have been to Chechnya in both capabilities. This chapter makes it really sad as I have seen the horrors with my ow eyes. I have met homosexual persons who was later killed just for loving the wrong human and now WW is making my game about this. That is just despicable. I might have doubts about certain things with the new WoD, but this is really the last straw. If this is not removed I will no longer support WW and see if I can cancel my order of an Elder bundle. Because I cant condone this.

This is not the way to make sure we get awareness about the horrors that are currently transpiring in Chechnya. Please, rethink this.

The offending passage in this book seriously needs removal. What kind of obscene, grotesque, vulgar direction has White Wolf decided to take Vampire: the Masquerade anyway? This is appalling.

Very saddened to hear this, I’m a big fan of V5 so far but might have to give this book a miss if this isn’t rectified.

This is a thoughtless portrayal. The real life terror, torment, and murder of real queer people in Chechnya is diminished and disrespected. Please remove this chapter.

Vampire: The Masquerade helped me adjust when I left my fundamentalist upbringing to become a liberal tolerant Christian. Basically, exposure to characters like Critias (gay), Annabellle (bi), Lucita (bi), Khalid (Muslim), Fatima (bi, Muslim), and other characters helped change my view on a lot of things. They were, in a very real way, friends and helped me come to terms with the fact my beliefs were not consistent with my religious values (Humanity 10 or bust) or who I wanted to be.

This use of a population of people who are being harmed and killed to be plot in your game is horrific. I’m a D&D fan and own most editions and I will absolutely not be purchasing this one unless you remove this content, and think carefully about who thought it was a good idea in the first place and why, to avoid further issues like this going forward.

This is really atrocious. Signing in memory of the VtM which was once a vanguard of LGBT representation and rights.

This content is egregious and dismissive of the real impact of these atrocities. It's nothing short of irresponsible to turn suffering - especially suffering that is still going on right now - into a "distraction" for your fictional, cackling villains.

You can do better than this, developers.
