I feel this is crucial and needs to be accomplished ASAP. Southern University at New Orleans desperately needs a Chancellor who genuinely cares about the betterment of this Historic University.

Lisa Barton-With all due respect, it's very imperative that you research the history of the university after Hurricane Katrina, because the information that you have received is inaccurate. The chancellor was not on the forefront as it relates to saving the university, and the credit that you are generously awarding to Dr. Ukpolo is baseless and highly disrespectful to the past SGA presidents that slept on the state capitol to ensure that the school opened in 2006.The alumni presidents, student body, and the dedicated faculty and staff were instrumental in saving the university, and worked tirelessly to ensure that SUNO opened after the devastating storm of Hurricane Katrina. It's apparent that you are not a skillful researcher, because your comments are unsubstantiated, and you don't have a definitive historical outlook on the issues and struggles that occurred at the university. In addition, you are an embarrassment, because you have failed to intellectually gain insight through factual information, and you are need of some expertise in the writing arena.

SUNO is the worst university I've attended. The buildings are deplorable. Most instructors (in the biology dept. )are incompetent. Dr Attiea to be specific gives grades to students who basically kiss his behind and there is no order with grades, scholarships or classroom management. The labs are always lacking in some way or another. I'm ashamed to say I'll be graduating from here. I've been having problems since I've been here and can't wait to get out because I won't turn back!
