I love my pit, sweetest thing in the world. Please get rid of BSL and understand it isn't the dogs. It is the people who lack education about them. They are how you raise them. Raise them to be mean and they will be mean. Raise them to be loving and affectionate and that's how they'll be. Don't discriminate against the dogs, discriminate against the bad owners who give their breed a bad name.

I have been around pitbulls all my life never once have I had one that is vicious it all in how you raise them my dogs have always been shown love and affection there were a few that my kids would actually ride like horses and never got aggressive towards them in any way.. Pitts are very stereotyped.. I love my pitts

Pit Bulls aren't aggressive! It's all about how you raise a dog! Any breed of dog can be mean if you raise it to be mean! It's all common sense people! I've met many pit bulls that are just big babies that love to give kisses and hugs and think that they are lap dogs! Don't judge a breed until you've actually meet one!

People are ignorant pits are family dogs it's been proven over many years. They have the fourth highest bite force so what they don't band doberman or mastiff witch has over 200 lb per square in then pits

People come on now. The only reason the ban is in place is because of ignorance of the human race. These dogs powerful jaws are the reason they used in fighting which then makes them so called dangerous. Any breed can be dangerous. What about the smaller breeds that are ankle bitters ? That's the problem with society is closed minded, ignorance of people. Lift the ban.

There should absolutely be a vicious dog registry, however, to connect an entire breed to viciousness because of many people not knowing how to be responsible pet owners is crazy. There also needs to be a registry for abusive and irresponsible pet owners.
