As a youth football coach, These reports about Bowsher's AD acting inappropriately has been heard in the community for several years. Bowsher High School has had some outstanding coaches in the past but Bear has made all their jobs difficult. I know that his continued presence is creating an ongoing distraction for the students athletes, coaches and staff. I hope his removal allows everyone to turn the page and put the focus on the success and welfare of the student-athletes. Please review his job performance, relationships with his coaches in the past. I am proud of the accomplishments of the student athletes on and off of the field. They have excelled in competition, the classroom and in the community, and they exemplify the humility, dedication and work ethic. Those opportunities did not come by accident but were achieved through collective efforts to give these young men every chance to succeed. It's a blessing to have Coach Robinson and his staff to work alongside all of you at Bowsher High School.

Anytime a man takes time to teach boys how to become men both on and off the field. Is doing it out of love for the game and life itself deserves all the support he can get from those above, around and under him.

Mike is a great person and coach. He spends time developing the students as athletes, scholars and young adults. I hope this signature helps to improve Bowsher's athletic program by getting someone in there who is concerned about developing a positive program.

As a proud fan of the Bowsher Rebels, I have watched this team grow tremendously over the last year under coach Mike Robinson. These boys have turned into men with the help of coach and it is an absolute travesty what he has had to go through this year. The amount of hurdles he has had to jump through due to the behavior of Mr. Reeves is unheard of in interscholastic sports. No head coach should be treated in such a way, ESPECIALLY when he gives the team and school his all every day. I have been following Coach Robinson since he was a position coach at St. Francis and he has without question dedicated his whole adult life to not only coaching young men, but to making them better PEOPLE in the process. For Mr. Reeves to discuss with a STUDENT his plans to have the coach fired is not only unprofessional and unethical, but it crosses a moral boundary of RESPECT. If these accusations are true, which I believe them to be, Mr. Reeves obviously does not have the students best interest at heart and should be relieved of his duties immediately. Bowsher's student athletes deserve better and it is time for CHANGE!!

To whom it may concern,
As a first year assistant football coach at Bowsher my experience was by far enjoyable. I love being a part of the community at Bowsher high school, it's one that truly cares about the development of the children and the program. However, it was unfortunate that not everyone seemed to share the same passion. In my experience, "Bear" consistently failed to meet deadlines. For this reason our Freshman team suffered as they had to borrow equipment from cardinal stritch. All of two-a-day practices our freshman went without equipment in which was inquired for well before two-a-days began. There were many other issues that occurred throughout the season, from my personal point of view it seemed as if the responsibilities of an athletic director were more taxing for "Bear" than enjoyable. This posed as an issue to me because in order to build a program it must be something that you believe in and want to do for the betterment of the community and not just an opportunity to collect a paycheck. Personally, I have no issues with "Bear", he seemed to be a nice man, very polite and welcoming. However it is his lack of job performance that I do not agree with. In conclusion, I wish "Bear" well in his endeavors but I would love to see someone in position that is just as passionate about building a program and grroming young men and women into student athletes and young professionals. I believe that if enough people come together with a common goal it is inevitable that it will be achieved. Unfriendly, as long as "Bear" holds the athletic director position I do not believe the same common goal is shared. I look forward to being a part of this program in the future, the children's best interest will always be in my heart and effort.
Go Rebels!
Sincerely,
Jonathan Robinson

Bowsher deserves better than an AD who actively undermines his own coaches.

i feel the Athletic Director is very unprofessional and does not have the Best interest of the Children and Community. He has a hidden agenda. He has done several dastardly deeds against the Current Coach who has brought nothing but positive energy to that Bowsher Community. Instead of helping this young Coach who is making a difference with the Children he is throwing up all kinds of RoadBlocks. The kids need mentoring, they need to be nurtured. They need a role model. Some of these kids don't need any more Confusion! Please look at the picture of the kids in the paper. Shirts and ties! When was the last time you saw this. Let's get this Right Folks!

I never liked him. When we had our meeting with him about the football gear, and about coach Mike. I think he conducted himself in an unprofessional way. He kept repeating his answers, and could never give the parents an honest answer. Bowsher needs an AD who cares about the kids, and not try to manipulate them. I hope we get those 1000 petitions to get that cub out of there, oops I mean bear!

He is a very rude person who never seemed to take any interest in what anyone has to say ever. Also in my eyes he seemed not to like different ethnicities too much and showed that openly.

I have had the chance to work with bowsher sports this year. The AD was very unapproachable nor did he seem interested in what we did for the team to boost efforts for team family, team morale, and the program itself yet wanted to take credit for all of the things done. The fact that this has happened twice is apalling. To know he has a etching license and is interacting with kids this way is unacceptable. He should be ashamed of himself!
