This is absolutely reprehensible. To be a person in office, the person representing the people of that area, and to be so openly and blatantly racists. There is no room for that in local government, and we will not stand for it. He must be held accountable and removed from his position!

This obviously xenophobic, racist, bigot needs to be removed from his public office. He is a representative for ALL people, not just those that look and talk like him. It was his clear and unequivocal choice to disparage all the Latino/Hispanic people of the Tri-Cities, these are not, and never should be the actions of a public servant. Time for this man to resign, be removed, and not only issue a heart-felt apology, but also volunteer with agencies that assist the Latino/Hispanic community in the Tri-Cities and Yakima Valley.
