Yes, he has his right to his opinions but when you are an authority figure, posting something like THIS, on social media is not ok!

I believe officials should not be putting personal thoughts on social media.I agree they have the right to speak on their political views on there personal space but not on social media.

Bob Parks, thank you for showing your true colors & now allow US the people react accordingly.
I expect this type of ignorance from uneducated & racist individuals which is horrible that you posses the same characteristic. You don't belong in office.

His comments after the original meme are much worse than the meme and there is no need for these views in an elected official.

His posting of the meme was dicey enough, but his following comments on Pasco and the "rock" were egregious and insulting. A person in his position, as a representative of the people in his community, needs to be much more conscious of the power of his words. Average Joe Citizen might be able to say these things and have it shrugged off as bad taste, but not a city councilman. He continues to display no concern for the statements, nor, for that matter, for the people of Kennewick, whom he is supposed to be representing. He needs to step down or be removed from his position.

There is no place in government, federal, state or local, for racist remarks. Disparaging a community based on ethnic demographics leads in an evil direction.

Someone in that position should not be stupid enough to say things like that out loud. If he feels that way, fine, there's nothing that can be changed. He should be ashamed by how unprofessional and class-less he is for going around and opening his fat trap. This is exactly what he gets!
