I am doing this petition to have Bob Garcia removed from the Columbia Lakes HOA board for making inappropriate and threatening comments. Comment made was I can call CPS if your kids are playing in the street and have them taken away for child endangerment. I feel that a HOA board member should conduct themselves in respectful and professional manner to all residents especially when the floor is opens up to residents for Q&A

I don’t think his actions are those of someone I want on our board. Received a rude letter from him regarding a violation that turned out to be something perfectly fine in this neighborhood and no where in the deed restrictions. He has a personal vendetta and not the communities best interest in mind.
I feel like an HOA member should be a voice for the residents. Not threaten to have CPS called for children doing what children do. You threaten one member, you're threatening all members that are parents.
Abuse of power needs to be checked!
Just as I feel for politicians, I feel the same for any board. These individuals work for US the MAJORITY, not themselves or the minority.
Regardless of the comments made at the last HOA meeting (which were extremely inappropriate), this man has been interpreting the rules as he sees fit even if the rules don't support him.
Not the leadership we residents in CL deserve.

Our 4 kids all grew up playing in the streets of Columbia Lakes They were taught to watch out for cars and the neighborhood were all respectful and protective of the kids around this great community We have lived here for over 40 years and have never heard that kids can’t play around here and ride their bikes around
