BLM movement does not belong in schools, pushed on kids. The BLM movement along with CRT is creating racial division/racial tension by dividing people into groups based on their skin color. (Oppressed/verses oppressor grouping of people) I have heard teens voice that the movement makes them depressed because they are being told they’re either in the oppressed group or the oppressor group, based on color - and they don’t see themselves the way they are being labeled based on their color, it causes confusion And mental stress. We need to have compassion for our kids. There are so many people who do not want to be labeled and called a victim of some thing when they do not feel oppressed. There are also many people who do not feel at all like supremacists, and don’t want to be told they are, when they are not (just because of white skin color) Public decisions need to be made with everyone’s best interest in mind and if it cannot accomplish that it cannot be pushed and forced on people. The BLM movement is flawed and errant. I see the racism in the BLM movement itself. I see it because I am 100% against racism. I’d love to see GOOD approaches to improving race relations and promoting love of ALL people. BLM will not accomplish this. It will do the opposite. (Asking for good and wise judgement, let’s keep BLM out of schools. Your decision will effect teen mental health. Please talk to kids and listen to how they are feeling. I will continue to listen to them and be their voice, because I love ALL kids of every ethnic group)

Firmly agree that equal rights is always important and should be taught but BLM the organization is not the appropriate method for teaching equality. Further, political ideologies have no place in the classroom.

This is part of why I took my son out of this school system. Along with what they were teaching and the mask enforcement and not sticking up for our children.
