Religious reasons aside (and there are many), why would we build a monument to anything that honored child sacrifice... Would we erect a monument to terrorists or mass murderers? If not, then why would we do this? It is not our countries heritage... if those who lost this monument want it, then let them build it on their land... not here! This makes no sense!

Imitation is the highest form of flattery. Just as an Elvis impersonator honors the deceased star by dressing/performing like him, erecting this tower ANYWHERE in the United States, is honoring what/who it represents: the direct enemy of God. Let's not make Him angry; remember Sodom and Ghommorah??? He WILL NOT BE mocked! 2Chron 7:14

If you care about our nation, which was built on Godlt values, you need to sign this petition! It's time to stand up! Aren't you tired of humanistic/liberal thinking taking over this country?

Socially, morally unrepresentable to the vales of NYC nor of any modern human being. Definitely not something to be erected in a public setting nor in a city with such global attention and visitors who will look upon and recognize such values. We as the public reject this. Its very historical and cultural significance is hostile to progressivism and we as a society and a city cannot go backwards like this.

This would be so wrong to allow this to happen.

We need to remember that "culture" is not sacred. We used to do some nasty things; guilding them in gold is not the way to be free of that.

Take the money that would be used for some or all of "World Heritage Week" and put it towards the need of children living in refugee camps instead.

Those who identify themselves as communist need to be dragged out of this country by their hair, or their testicles, depending on what sex they are!
