As someone who has been raped, abused verbally and emotionally, I cannot believe she is a figure head for ACLU. She lashed out irrationally on multiple occasions to many different people and committed the very thing she is supposed to be standing against. She is supposed to be the advocate and the voice for those too ashamed to step forth on their own. Shame on her.

This woman was disingenuous from the start. How can one help People Magazine launch a smear campaign against their abuser with 'never seen before photos' within 2 weeks of leaving him and needing a legal restraining order because of his 'violent temper', and expect to be seen as a champion for women or expect anyone to take any woman claiming domestic violence seriously again? ACLU is making a mockery of domestic survivors appointing this woman as a role model'!

In my eyes, the behaviour of this person makes it even more difficult for real abuse victims to be heard.
In addition to that, she tries to destroy an innocent man who has got a lot of evidence against her - including the report of a female police officer that Heard accused of lying . And other women who worked for Heard are also making depositions to support Mr. Depp.
So how can you keep this kind of ambassador?
