I'm a 54 yr old man that drives close to 700 miles a week to support my family.I have been driving for over 37 yrs. without a speeding ticket until these cameras were installed ,within the last month i have recieved 2 of these tickets which i refuse to pay,if we stand strong and refuse to pay these unjust tickets they will not be able to continue this scam of a program with no funds..

these cameras are another ridiculous plot to extort more money from tax paying citizens instead of addressing the actual problems of overcrowded highways and mismanagement of tax dollars.

Stop the scams! No more cameras! Tickets should be made out by cops not computers.

The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) clearly defines how speed limits, and school speed limits, should be determined. In most cases, MUTCD standards have not been followed when establishing these limits. Regulations should only be implemented when they're reasonable and prudent, with due consideration being shown for the motoring public.

Not only is there insufficient signage warning of the speed limit change. There is insufficient time to sow down to that speed after the sign. Also, there is no immediate indication that you have received a violation. It takes weeks to receive it in the mail, and thus it takes weeks to modify your driving behavior. resulting usually in multiple tickets. Completely unfair. I agree that this is only done for revenue purposes as there was no apparent safetly issue at schools prior to implementing these cameras.

These speed cameras have no warning signs and the signet hat are present are partially obscured. This is a moneymaking scheme designed to play Gotcha with drivers. I have received 2 tickets in the past two weeks, eating into our household budget. Please stop this injustice!

If the cops don't need to do their job then maybe we can let their salaries and give it to the NYC cops who deserve it more.

I have five tickets for going 31mph AFTER school hours. this is absurd and there was no warning, just strictly and costly immediate enforcement. entirely wrong and money making scam!!!!!
