Fence just shocked our dog. No warning signs up at all. Another beautiful place in ireland ruined. Thanks red tape.

I agree with Ursina. A more productive approach to protecting the beach and dunes would be to forbid the circulation of cars, motorcycles and other motor vehicles at Inch.

I always thought the dunes at Inch were a public, open space because they've been enjoyed by so many over the years. This fence blocks access to walking on the dunes from the car park and cafe. It blocks the many people like us who have walked there every week for years and it disrupts Inch's attraction to the many visitor s who come to walk and play in the dunes.

The important thing to do in Inch is to keep the motorcyclists out of the dunes and the cars off the beach. This should be an area reserved to animlas, nature and human who respect the place. I think there are better ways to do that than putting up elctrical fences.

Why on earth would someone put up an electricity fence in a public access area is beyond me! Please take it down before someone gets hurt!
