Removal of the GST and the lowering of the fuel excise and a royal commission into price gouging

For an economy that relies on consumerism , the government is making it increasingly difficult for the average family to cope financially let alone have any left over money to 'spend' and fuel the economy. It is appalling the way this world operates. While the majority of us are out their working (being slaves) just to get by, you the government and the wealthy are capitalising on that fact we are stuck in this rut. Looking at the cost of petrol prices is a damn good start - it's disgusting. There are so many other avenues that should be investigated too. Shame on you Government. Democracy? What democracy? When have we the people ever had a say. You take full advantage of us, by hiking up the cost of living while sitting back giving yourselves pay rises and living off your pretty pension. And it doesn't seem to matter who we vote for.

Enough is enough... 1.86 for octane 98 is absolute BS !! This needs to come back to atleast 1.50 and be stable..

Its a rort. Apart from the same supplier one klm apart showing a different price?How can i go from a city that has major storage facilities to a country town and find the price thirteen cents a litre cheaper. Please explain. As for the GST and excise?
