there is really no need for the price of fuel to be that high we are being scammed by the petrol companies and the service stations and the government has Blinders on to all of this thank you

Fuel is an essential commodity in a country as large as Australia. Stop crippling familes with outrageous fuel prices and let them get on with their lives.

It’s getting to the point where I am having to decide whether to buy fuel or food. I am out of work and struggling to find a job. I get Centrelink money but that covers rent and bills and then I have a little left over maybe $200 a fortnight if I’m lucky as Centrelink is less than half minimum wage for full time work per fortnight. With the petrol prices going up and having to travel for job interviews and other things I have to get 2 tanks of fuel a fortnight. At the moment that equates to around $130-170 a fortnight and it has been said that we are in the cheap section of the cycle this time. Average people cannot afford this. Like I said earlier it’s almost at the point where I have to decide if I get food or if I get fuel. This is not acceptable

The price of fuel for pensioners and low income families is ridiculous. The Government needs to get out in the real world and live on the money we get.

Remove all taxes and excise from fuel and only add 10% gst on the final price . Get rid of the fuel price watch commision and implement anti price gauge commision that has the power to act instantly
