The price of fuel just this past year or two has been absolutely ridiculous, and for those who are struggling with finances in general, a high cost of fuel makes it so much harder to live day by day. How are we supposed to get to work and earn money for the high price of living when getting to work is becoming one of the most expensive parts. Public transport isn’t the solution. If you were to add up how much it were to take public transport to work and back everyday, it would be just as expensive as the fuel prices, if not more.

The petrol prices have skyrocketed out of control.Major fuel stations petrol prices are at $1.68 yet United (an independent) fuel is $1.35.How can you justify this huge price rise. Our wages/pension only goes up $10 a year so how are ppl supposed to be able to afford these out of control prices?

This is blatant price fixing from big oil. Back when the price per barrel was high ($136.36 2015) the price was high. The price per balrrel now ($69.42 2018) low yet the domestic price is at it's highest ever. The winners here are the oil companys and the both state and federal governments. They will not lift a finger as they are rolling in the revenue. They become dependant on thus revenue stream.

This conversation is well overdue. I have to drive for my job in disability and only get re-embedded half of the current price per litre. Out re-embersement goes up 6cents a year yet the petrol prices have jumped more than 30. We are all being ripped off and it’s criminal behaviour, Especailly for the people that need it most. Fix it.
