Long overdue. Oil is no dearer or even less expensive now than 5 years ago. Why is petrol and diesel up to 50% dearer now????

When oil barrels were $65.00 in the early 2000 petrol was 69.9-79.9 cents a litre, now it's 1.51-1.89 cents a litre how does that work with the price of a barrel around the same price, Woolworths and Coles got rid off competition that's why.
