Why is fuel so expensive. What is the gov doing about it

We are a large family and a few children with disabilities. It's hard enough that we're forced to pay higher prices for items because they are for disabled people, parking at the hospital but to be stung high for fuel placing our family below the poverty line every time we put fuel in. The government needs to look hard at itself and the oil companies but its hard to get change when the Pollies get benefits from the proceeds of fuel. What a world we live in.

Pensioners will soon be unable to afford to drive their cars anywhere.

The fuel prices are horrible and making life extremely difficult for young and old there is no reason for them to be so high

Enough is Enough we pay so many different taxes it’s not funny .

These fuel prices are utterly ridiculous. As if its not hard enough now for the average australian you make it harder by allowing this fuel hike to continue. You the government should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this happen. And as for the suppliers you too should be ashamed. The higher the prices go the less we will be able to run our vehicles and the less vehicles that will be on the roads which leads to less fuel being needed which means a lot less money that these companies will make. So come on give us a break.

And while you’re at it. Can you do something about tolls. Aren’t our road costs covered by excise and road taxes?? 100%. You’d think they’d build roads so that we could be able to get to work to be able to pay taxes in the first place.

The prices for fuel is ridiculous we are shipping out our own oil to other countrys who sell their fuel cheaper and we get it sold back to us for three times the price enough is enough
