The government is getting to greedy with the GST and fuel excise. We Australians are paying way too much on fuel and living costs but fuel prices are the worst ... get rid of the government greed..

Time to protect fair dinkum Aussies. Jobs will start to suffer. People in rural areas cannot easily get public transport.

Fuel costs are simply CRAZY & are beyond ridiculous. Sometimes families are choosing between filling up the car to take kids to school or putting food inside their lunch boxes. All for making profit, nothing wrong with that, but not when it is hurting Australian families & there is no choice. Same with all fuels in this country, organisations taking advantage of us where gas & electricity are concerned too. HOW ARE OUR LEADERS PROTECTING US & OUR BEST INTERESTS???

The price of fuel is so damn ridiculous and is theft from us hard working people who already pay tax on everything. And also considering that the rise in fuel prices years ago was apparently the result in souring oil prices, yet the price of oil is at an extreme low so there is no excuse that fuel prices should even be as high as they are, we strongly support this petition - we are pensioners & live in a rural community prices are even higher for us - we now only go into the larger town of Bundaberg (which is hour & a half away) once a month as we cannot afford the fuel - putting our health & lives at risk as we cannot attend Dr's more than once a month & do without food when we run out as the shops are all in Bundaberg. It is about time the government of Australia starts to stand up & fight & work for the people of Australia ....... Because come the next election .... you will see what the Australian people that you work for think of you all ....

Lower fuel prices

The price of fuel is so damn ridiculous and is theft from us hard working people who already pay tax on everything. And also considering that the rise in fuel prices years ago was apparently the result in souring oil prices,yet the price of oil is at an extreme low so there is n excuse that fuel prices should even remain over $1. I strongly support this push and petition as i am a single father of an 8yo boy in reginal victoria,my son and i play sports but to get to football matches is 100km 1 way some weeks,plus i have to get work etc. Is making trying to live pay rent power etc very unatainible.

This is long time overdue, we have paid for to long an ridiculous price for our fuel! I live in a Rural area (Pensioner) but I still need to drive to get anywhere! Stop ripping us ,the People which pay your absorbent Salary off!

Eg Balladonia $2.07 per litre for Deisel Eucla bear the SA/WA border $1.90 per litre How is that possible , would cost more to transport to the border so is Balladonia just ripping people off

You expect us to work, you expect use to contribute to society on by paying taxes, yet for low income workers such as myself, being in the sales industry requires me to drive to different customers. Yes i am aware that this is tax deductible however the tax refund happens once a year. I fuel my car up twice weekly to stay in employment, now thats $120 per week out of my $730/w wage. how am i meant to survive on this?

Yes fuel is way overpriced !

There is no need for the fuel price to be so high and for it to change on a daily basis.
