A tax on a tax is double dipping. We were promised when the GST came in that it would be in place of other taxes not on top of them!!!

Cost of living is already a huge burden on people in Australia. Fuel to operate a vehicle among many things in this modern society has become a necessity for many people. The commute to work is one most of us have to take, generally 5 times per week. The distance travelled daily never changes, we rarely are awarded significant pay increases, but fuel keeps going up higher and higher, eating into more and more of everyones hard earned dollars. This needs to be sorted out. Instead of taking from the people you serve, how about giving back a bit and stop double dipping with taxes.

The price of fuel in Australia has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime!! The man/woman on the land is having a hard enough time as it is with the exorbitant cost of fuel. And it is adversely affecting everyone else as well.

yes how come years ago the oil barrel was dearer and petrol was cheaper now oil barrel is cheaper but petrol is dearer this is robbery and the government don't care
