Removal of the GST and the lowering of the fuel excise and a royal commission into price gouging

While the price of fuel is ridiculous, the worst consequence is how much it costs to transport basic things like food. As prices soar higher and higher, the average person is finding it more and more difficult to manage. For those of us living on limited pensions, we are having to do without more and more as the cost of living is forever beyond our means. Sometimes, we have to choose between one essential thing or another - we can't afford both. And one of the big reasons that costs are so high, is directly related to the cost of transporting essential items for basic, everyday living.

As retirees this fuel tax is killing us financially! We worked hard all our lives to make Australia a great place - not to be ripped off!! :-(

Fuel prices are just getting out of hand. They used to try and justify rises with semi plausible excuses, but now they just keep increasing them just because they can, with no excuses or regards for their customers. Most businesses have to justify such massive increases or lose customers or are brought to task, apparently not so with petroleum retailers or banks. I am all for at least giving it a go to see if by making a stand against this blatant roughing something my just come of it.

Fuel needs to drop so my weekly wage isnt going entirely in fuel and daycare
