Principal Harris has managed to negatively impact Acero- Roberto Clemente with just a few months in her role. Our school has become unrecognizable in the sense that families no longer find joy in attending. There are no more family events, there are no more student- based events, there is no communication and a huge lack of transparency. Mrs. Harris has made the school her own instead of communal as it has always been. Her morals and beliefs have made it so uninviting and lacking the warmth and welcoming feeling that it once had. Students have nothing to look forward to anymore. Teachers are being displaced and are now being forced to teach classes they don’t have certifications for. Parents are being shut down in parent- meetings and there is no open discussion, solely her ideas and wants. We need to make our voice heard and our request is the removal of Mrs. Harris from her role. She has the certification but clearly lack of experience.
La directora Harris ha logrado impactar negativamente a Acero-Roberto Clemente con solo unos meses en su cargo. Nuestra escuela se ha vuelto irreconocible en el sentido de que las familias ya no encuentran alegría al asistir. Ya no hay eventos familiares, ya no hay eventos estudiantiles, no hay comunicación y hay una enorme falta de transparencia. La Sra. Harris ha hecho suya la escuela en lugar de comunal como siempre ha sido. Sus modales y creencias le ha quitado el sentido de bienvenido que una vez tuvo la escuela. Los estudiantes ya no tienen motivacion ya que no hay ni reconocimiento por sus logros. Los maestros están siendo desplazados y ahora se ven obligados a enseñar classes de las cual no tienen certificacion o experiencia enseñando. Los padres están siendo excluidos de las reuniones de padres y no hay discusión abierta, únicamente Mrs. Harris sobre sus ideas y deseos. Necesitamos hacer oír nuestra voz y nuestra solicitud es la destitución de la Sra. Harris de su cargo. Tiene la certificación pero claramente falta experiencia.

The feedback from parents and teachers remains heartbreaking because the sense of community we once cherished continues to erode under this leadership. I spent my morning reviewing the latest emails and they confirm that my exhaustion is shared by many of you. We are not backing down until the administration understands that this school belongs to the families.

The current principal is implementing new rules at the school without taking into consideration how it will negatively affect all students and teachers.a
Ms Harris has been unpleasant since starting as the principal at Clemente. My daughter in 7th grade was reprimanded for an incident that occurred. When communicating with me she was very hostile and not understanding of my concerns. I have three kids at Clemente and I have never experienced this type of behavior from any teacher or principal. I would love for my kids to have the great experience they've been having all these years, not a principal that scares the kids!
Me gustaría q removieran a la directora esta haciendo cambios muy inapropiados que van a perjudicar en el aprendizaje de nuestros hijos aparte de q a quitado varías actividades tanto de padres y alumnos
Soy Mamá de niñas graduadas de Clemente , en la cual fue una experiencia agradable ,Maestro,Directora y Padres de Famia nos reunimos para mantener un ambiente saludable y Familiar para el bien estar de los niños , lamento mucho escuchar que nada de eso existe ahora por lo cual levanto mi voz por los , Padres , niños y Maestros que siguen colaborando en el planten , en estos tiempos tan difíciles que estamos pasando creo que es muy importante la unión Familiar y el interés de los padres para sus hijos , pero si la dirección no lo está permitiendo , como formaremos buenos seres humanos , a si que me uno a ellos en contra de su directora.
No está ayudando ella quiere cambiar a nuestros maestros de grados no está escuchando su voz de ellos nuestros estudiantes frustrados por ese cambio

Due to current changes, it has been determined that a revision on current policy have impacted fellow teachers, parents and students. With that being said actions has to be made to guarantee the future academic success for the students and fellow educators.
