UC Removal of Principal Hagstrom from Walt Disney School

I’ve had all bad situations with this principal. I was once told my daughter can’t get her lunchbox she left in class when we were literally a short walk from her pod. I was told she can put her lunch in a plastic bag for tomorrow because she shouldn’t have left if. Also in assemblies, she’s showed a lack of professionalism with her comments towards kids that didn’t receive academic awards, by calling those kids not so smart.

She needs to be taken out of this school !! Our kids can't be exposed to her and the staff needs to stand up to this person.

Our children need a healthy environment.

Get het out of there I graduated from Disney and it never had a reputation like that.

Awful principal. Racist, arrogant, and incompetent. I’m glad she is resigning.

The kids of Chicago deserve better than this. Our teachers, staff, and parents as well.

I have had two friends approach me with two different extremely concerning stories regarding this individual. The first was regard to a kindergartener in a bullying situation where the school took no accountability (they transferred out) and the second story is with regard to the both blatant and intrenched institutional racism that this woman propagates. Neither story is reflected in the petition, however I highly encourage Officials to investigate this woman in particular asking about specific rules she has that discriminate against families with fewer resources and people of color.

This principal needs to be remove in the sake of the students.

Ms. Hagstorm can be intimidating and rude. You can tell staff, students and parents are scared of her.

Mean to parents and students. Student know her for hating children. Time for change. She needs to go.

Ms. Hagstrom has made life hell for people at Disney. She needs to go!

Not only was Dr Hagstrom racist toward me, but was also racist towards my children. Consistently disrespectful towards parents and created a hostile environment at school events

My daughter was bullied and eventually I had to transfer her out She does point the finger at the bullied child Get her the hell out of there!!! I’ve spent many days in the main office

I graduated Disney ten years ago, luckily I never experienced her abuse first-hand. But I only heard negative things;, she is distant, self-aggrandizing, and a poor leader... 46 years is too many!

I went here over 10 years ago and I remember how awful she was then!

Anti -bullying

She once made a boy run the field with asthma, as a punishment for talking out of order. Cruel and unusual. Plus she got a Trump wig. Great minds think alike.

We have no place for incompetence. Especially we live in a great diverse city.
