UC Removal of Principal Hagstrom from Walt Disney School

She is rude and she doesn’t care about anybody but herself!

She is so rude to the Reaches it is so unfair like literally yelling at teachers telling students are supposed to respect teachers or staff like who are you, you don’t even do that yourself

As a neighbor of Disney, I believe these charges should be investigated.

She has a lot of favor for the gifted kids and it’s really unfair

I had three granddaughters in this school and my grandson was on the waiting list for three years and was told that the school would not accept anyone entering fourth grade. This was told to my daughter by the principal and I know it’s not true. And by the way my grand children are black.

Just leave the school it’s about time for you to retire

As a parent, I am, disturbed, how dare this woman rob our children and hard working staff members of the right to have a healthy learning environment.

My daughter was at Disney, since kindergarten and she left in 7. I have experienced several situations were my daughter and, myself have had in counters with her. I have witnessed her speak to her staff and parents in a very disrespectful and disgraceful manner. The level of fear that presents itself when she is present, in students as well as in staff is appalling. To have a women in such a position, to guide, lead and, mentor our children with such a repulsive attitude that is very condescendingly atrocious, disgusting and very distasteful to say the least. How can she lead our children when she believes in Out date races views again ???... She has belittle enough people and her time needs to end now! Disney has so many different races and it’s a beautiful mixture, but to have someone that’s does not truly believe in this beauty should not be a principle anywhere. It’s time for Disney to have a principal that believes in uniting as one and not as The Queen Of Disney...Yes I refuse to state her name...

I have been fighting Kathy Hagstrom for 15 years. My kids got a good education in spite of her because the teachers cared, but the good ones leave because she creates hostile, suffocating environment. I have hundreds of stories about how awful this principal is. The culture she fosters, the treatment of staff, parents and students is unforgivable, and the blatant racism and narcissism she displays is opposite of educational enrichment. She must go!!!

This school is trash sadly. The kids there are separated based of how much they know and how they’re brain works and it’s very rude and disrespectful. She has no respect and the school look isn’t so good like she spends money on that wig she has on instead of buying lockers and actually rooms like what is a pod ? And what is a cubby? Kids should be able to have lockers and actually get to have more privacy . How come the sixth and seventh graders and seventh and eighth graders has to share a pod . Then the staffs are very rude too. I can’t stand it and we barely have any fun and they way they’re teaching is just so old .

When I was younger I use to want to go here but wasn’t able to because of distance. Once I had a child I was excited they were able to attend here. I was disappointed and I wish I never enrolled my child here. The principal did not make it a fun environment. She made the smart (gifted) kids compete with the average kids. If she could get parents to be on “her side” she would treat you very well but if you went against her or challenged her in any way then she would make things rough for you and your child. Just like she did with the teachers (she would give teachers rough kids to force them out) she would put your child in a rough class. I ended up pulling my kids out because they could t take it anymore. I couldn’t take it either! Both of my children ended up going to a far better school where the principal was so nice and hands on and very involved in her students lives. Whoever started this petition great job. I wish I had the guts to do this back then. I was a young mom and didn’t know any better though.

She called the police on an African American child named Kiwan because he had an outburst in class. She treated him like he was a criminal and had him taking into custody simply for being upset. I doubt she would’ve done this if the child wasnt of black ethnicity. Absolutely racist, belligerent, intolerable, terrible, unqualified principle. Make her leave.
