The fact that the supporters are petitioning for this action proves yet again the chasm in what we, the fans, believe to be best for our club and those in charge of the biscuit tin. It is another prime example of football- the quintessential working class sport- being monopolised by a rich, capitalist elite. Can I point out this issue is nothing but politics and sport- which we are told never to mention in the same breath. however they are intrinsic and integral as what defines and binds us a club; this makes us totally unique certainly in Scotland and probably in the world. Having (at least one that we know about) a Tory, who happens to be a policy maker, as key a decision maker at our club totally contradicts our shared ethos as the sporting entity. The fans know and if the man in question doesn't maybe someone on the board can change his mind. unless, that is, they think the same thing about Tax Credits. Judging by the choices made at Celtic recently it wouldn't surprise me in the least that they'd vote the same way as Lord Livingston.

We don't want this 'Lord' having anything to do with our great club, disgraceful that he lives in a big house in Hertfodrshire, away from the reality of what these changes will mean to normal working people and the already poor!!
