This is a much more complicated issue than some have suggested, but the bottom line is that his vote is completely inconsistent with Celtic's own social charter, which aims to tackle poverty and the causes of it. One of those causes is clearly changes to welfare which Livingston's party is driving forward, and this cut in particular which will deepen the reality of poverty for over 3 million people according to the best independent research, including that by the Insitute of Fiscal Studies.
