On Monday 26th October 2015 Lord Ian Livingston voted in favour of cutting tax credits for some of the poorest families in the UK. Lord Livingston sits on the board of directors of Celtic Football Club. A club that was formed to help feed the poor in the east end of Glasgow. This work continues today with the ongoing efforts of the Celtic Foundation. We find it hypocritical that Lord Livingston is considered a part of this + wish him to be removed from the board of directors !

Does not sit well with the foundation principles of our club. Ours is a preferential option for the poor.

Wow. What an awful human being. He makes his money from the working class and then tries to shaft them.

Not a Celtic fan, but respect the club and its heritage. Ian Livingston must have known that his actions would run counter to Celtic’s ethos. Get rid.

Shocked that he would vote for this. It's the poorest that keep the club alive not the bloody rich!

Disgusting and unnecessary. It demonstrates this man knows nothing about the Celtic fans!

He needs to go. Celtic help the poor. Lord Livingston hates the poor.

I do not know how he can reconcile his actions with being a member of the Celtic family. He simply has to go. However most football board members are politically diametrically opposed to the views of the majority of their fans.

I am not a celtic fan but noone on the board of a club in a working class game should vote for something so critically damaging to the working class.
