A Tory peer who voted to cut tax credits and further exacerbate the poverty faced by the millions of people currently being forced to use food banks is against the ethos of Celtic Football Club and why the club was founded.
This man has no place on the board of our great football club and must be removed forthwith.

Utter scumbag, obviously doesn't know what poverty is or the history of out club.People like him are not welcome at Celtic and the people in charge need to have a long hard look at themselves as they are more interested in money than what our great club stands for.

to be on the board at Celtic is a privilege granted to very few people and i would expect those people to adhere to Brother Walfrids vision for our club i.e. to help the poor and help improve the conditions of those living in poverty. For Ian Livingstone to vote for the further impoverishment of the already poor is an affront to all that the Celtic family holds dear and as such he should resign or be removed from the board forthwith. He should be ashamed of himself.

It is an absolute disgrace that the club formed to feed the poor now harbours within its walls a Tory Lord who supports the impoverishment of millions of children. This is reminiscent of John Reid the Blairite warmonger being club chairman, an absolute travesty... these type of men are totally unsuitable and shouldn't even be welcome at our pie-stalls, never mind our boardroom

i understand the reason for this petition, but this man isn't setting out to harm people, not even the frontbenchers of the tory party are looking to harm anybody, they believe tax credits is a grain on the economy and wages should pay more.
for a club who don't support the politicisation of football when it comes to republicanism or nationalism, infact they punish those who do it, they cant cave to pressure from people who wont to remove a man because of his political beliefs.
