Ian bankier is wrong when he states that Celtic is an inclusive club in his absurd defence of Livingston. Celtic fc is more than a football club. it is a romantic idea that exists in the minds of its supporters that we are banded together by certain beliefs and values.those who don't get it have have no right to be running our club and should resign before they heap more shame upon us.

What a disgrace. Celtic FC origins: 'to alleviate poverty in Glasgow's East End parishes' (source: http://www.celticfc.net/pages/history). So, how on earth can the chairperson (a Tory) be someone who thinks it is acceptable to punish the working poor, not only by voting for the abhorrent tax credits cuts (the amount would be more than covered if the government sorted out the problem of benefit fraud and error - £4.6million), but by not even ensuring that Celtic FC pay their staff at least the so-called 'living' wage of £7.85 per hour.
These decisions are exploitative of all working people and all people who are unable to work yet are entitled to Child Tax Credits and Tax Credits as a working disabled person.
The chairperson of Celtic FC should represent and uphold the ethos of the club.
Clearly this man does not. His position is untenable and he should be removed.

I'm sure there is Tories out there who support Celtic which is fine. However having a Tory on the board is a hard pill to swallow especially being part of this current regime that is hammering the poor! It goes against the ethos of the club of which we are all proud of.

Celtic was founded to help poor families. A man who voted destroy poor families therefore has no place at the club.

Get rid of this character from the Celtic set up as soon as possible. As a Welsh supporter I could not believe this man held such sway at our great club. Not very happy at all.

I find it absolutely shocking that OUR club can be associated with such a person. The chairman has a go at fans for having their say but he should never forget he is simply a custodian of our club. Now if. You say a word your branded a racist, well many many of your own support chairman no fine well about being victims of racism & sectarianism so you should choose your words more carefully. It is the basic principle of our club trying to help various charities & good causes then we have a man who through his other JOB lol brings misery to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. So again it is not right and we do not want any association with people who seem to have no compassion for people struggling to get by day by day.hail hail
He's a disgusting article.
Get rid
Bit of a stupid oversite there
