As citizens of the city of Attica Kansas, we are seeking to remove Jason Hawley as a member of our city council. We are basing our agenda on the fact that Mr. Hawley has been recently arrested for Transporting an Open Container. In addition to those charges he was witnessed causing a major disruption at a local event, held on city property, at which he was also heavily intoxicated. Our understanding is that he is also repeatedly missing council meetings. It is simply unbecoming of a member of our City Council to behave in such a manner. We are concerned that decisions for our city are being made with his opinion, input & vote. Mr. Hawley has become an embarrassment to the city of Attica & it's people & we do not wish to be represented by him or his reputation.
